Aston Group is seeking an RN or LPN with strong MDS experience to lead our MDS Director team in Florida. You will oversee resident assessments (MDS 3.0), care plan development, and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, ensure timely submissions, and drive quality outcomes. Training available for the right nurse.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
• Prior MDS Director experience is highly preferred – however, training may be provided for the right nurse with strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee completion of resident assessments (MDS 3.0) to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Develop individualized care plans that drive quality outcomes and compliance.
• Monitor Medicare and Medicaid requirements, initiating coverage for qualified residents or issuing necessary notifications.
• Support nursing staff development and ensure optimal care delivery standards.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to maximize resident care reimbursement and uphold operational goals.
