Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Maternal Child Float. The RN will float between Pediatrics, Mother Baby and NICU, providing nursing care on a 12-hour day shift (7am–7pm) and rotating weekends and holidays as required.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited RN program graduate, Indiana RN licensure with CPR, and 1+ year experience in pediatrics, mother baby, or NICU, or be a new graduate with strong potential.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Licensure: RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Experience: Preferred 1+ years in Peds, Mother Baby or NICU, but will consider new grad RN's.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process per standards of care and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Act as patient advocate ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
