Job summary

Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, Oahu, is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a defined unit with a focus on whole-person care, safety, and efficient clinical operations. The role requires RN licensure, a BSN, and leadership experience to coordinate daily activities and staff performance.

The Nurse Manager will work closely with physicians, department leaders, and staff to maintain high patient/family satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in nursing or equivalent required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five years' technical experience preferred.
• One year's leadership experience preferred.
• Two years' acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team with strong supervision and coaching.
• Oversees daily unit operations, schedules, and staffing to ensure safe patient care.
• Collaborates with physicians, staff, and leaders to meet goals and improve satisfaction.
• Directs and evaluates personnel, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Coordinates patient care plans and throughputs, and manages overtime decisions.
