Job summary

Adventist Health Castle, located in Kailua, O’ahu, seeks an experienced nurse leader to create an environment where front-line staff deliver whole-person care. The role emphasizes safety, independence, and collaboration with physicians and department leaders to ensure efficient clinical operations and high satisfaction among patients, families, and staff.

The position requires RN licensure with a Bachelor's in Nursing and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• Five years' technical experience is preferred.
• One year's leadership experience is preferred.
• Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff.
• Maintains a visible nursing leadership presence on the unit and collaborates with physicians and leaders.
• Schedules, directs, and coordinates daily activities of a defined unit on assigned shifts.
• Monitors patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Drives staff development through education, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Assists leadership in achieving unit and organizational goals.
