Job summary

Castle Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to support residents with high-quality care. You will complete admissions, document care, and administer medications under physician orders, while coordinating with other departments to maintain a warm and calm unit atmosphere.

Applicants must hold current state licensure, be able to communicate in English, and have CPR certification. LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with active licensure.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete and file admission, transfer and discharge forms.
• Receive and transcribe orders; chart nurse notes accurately.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure resident care.
• Provide IV care, wound care and other nursing duties as required.
• Ensure resident care privacy and confidentiality; report incidents.
