Job summary

Touchmark at Harwood Groves in Fargo, ND is seeking an RN or LPN to join our assisted living team. This full-time position offers four days per week with rotating weekends and holidays, and a daily opportunity to provide compassionate, dignified care to residents.

You will collaborate with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans, supervise care staff, maintain confidentiality, and uphold Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required.
• Geriatric care interest and experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement care plans for residents with the nursing team.
• Oversee care staff and assist in making informed care decisions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Collaborate closely with a team of nurses on the floors.

As an RN or LPN with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our Assisted Living Communities receive the highest level of dignity and care. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Possess a current RN or LPN license
• Possess or willing to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to support the care team on the floors
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
