Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in the state of Illinois.
• Must be able to lift and/or move residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care.
• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Complete all required documentation pertaining to resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Make rounds throughout the shift to continuously monitor and assess resident conditions.
• Ensure that all call lights are answered timely and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are monitored frequently.

Job Summary:

Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitative care and clinical services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a RN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while also supporting our nursing team in meeting the needs of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
