Complete Care at Wheaton is seeking an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse for direct care in a full-time night shift role at our agency-free facility in Wheaton, MD. Qualifications

• Licensed to work in Maryland as an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation
• Professional & Clinically Skilled with leadership qualities

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV and injectable forms.
• Perform wound care and prevention, manage pain, apply dressings.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental health, track changes and analyze data.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and collect specimens as needed.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans and care planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others on care strategies.
• Educate residents and families about health status and expected care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of health status, care provided and progress.
• Oversee CNA work and ensure quality care and teamwork.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
