Job summary

Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitative care and clinical services, seeks an RN or LPN to join our team in Wheaton, IL. Provide high-quality nursing care to residents and support the nursing team.

You will ensure compliance with policies, supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain thorough documentation. A compassionate, patient-centered approach is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in the state of Illinois.
• Must be able to lift and/or move residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care.
• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Complete all required documentation pertaining to resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Make rounds throughout the shift to continuously monitor and assess resident conditions.
• Ensure that all call lights are answered timely and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are monitored frequently.
