Job summary

Villa Center, operated by Villa Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their care team in Ohio. The RN will assume accountability for residents, assess plans of care, and oversee licensed nursing care across shifts.

Responsibilities include administering meds, transcribing orders, supervising CNAs, and maintaining safety and documentation standards. CPR, an active RN license, and prior long-term care exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day certified nursing assistant services for the unit.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Prepares and administers medications and performs treatments as ordered.
• Documents care provided and resident response.
• Counts controlled drugs with the nurse on shift and reports discrepancies.
• Assesses resident safety and addresses hazards.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents as needed to meet individual needs.
