Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide supervision and direct nursing staff across its care facilities in Warren, Ohio. The role requires an active Ohio RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program, college, or university.
• A current, unencumbered, active OHIO RN License and current CPR.
• At least 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care.
• Experience in Point Click Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of residents.
• Communicates with family members regarding resident progress.
• Charts all required and necessary information regarding residents.
• Observes and directs the nurse aide staff and assists in orientation of new staff.
