Job summary

Bethesda is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents’ health status on admission and throughout care. You will develop and document dynamic, interdisciplinary care plans with physicians, residents, and families, and communicate updates to the team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, interventions, and timely documentation. Candidates must have an RN license, CPR/AED, and prefer long-term care experience; strong critical thinking and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license active in state of practice.
• CPR/AED certification required or obtained within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must possess critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with proper technique and assistance.
• Ability to transfer/move patients up to 200+ lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status on admission and ongoing basis.
• Develop dynamic care plans with an interdisciplinary team.
• Document care plans and interventions accurately and timely.
• Communicate plans to IDT, residents, and families.
• Administer medications and other nursing interventions safely.
• Respond to changes in condition using SBARR communication tool.
• Ensure care plan is delivered effectively and address issues via QAPI.
