Job summary

Bethesda Health is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents, develop dynamic care plans, and document plans on admission and ongoing changes.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care. You will perform medication administration, IVs, and routine nursing tasks with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse currently licensed in the state of practice.
• CPR/AED certification required, or obtained within six months.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status on admission and ongoing basis.
• Develop and update dynamic care plans with IDT input.
• Document assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately.
• Communicate plans to residents, families, and IDT members.
• Assist with ADLs and nursing interventions, including meds and IVs.
• Respond to urgent changes using SBARR and remain composed.
