Job summary

AdventHealth Manchester in Kentucky is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced medical office setting. You will assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team using standard nursing practices.

Requirements include Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN license, BLS certification, and 1+ year of medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing education and licensure required, BLS certification needed.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to document clearly and accurately in patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate nursing competencies including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights and education for patients and families.
• Educate patients based on learning needs and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
