Job summary

AdventHealth Manchester in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full‑time Day shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with families, ensuring safe, compassionate treatment.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and BLS certification; ACLS preferred. 1+ year of related experience is preferred, with growth opportunities and a supportive mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates a plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others.
• Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Evaluates identified problems, care provided, and patient responses to ensure overall quality of care.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided.
• Pursues professional growth and development, maintaining current knowledge, certification, and licensure per hospital policy.
• Serves as a role model for current and new staff.
• Attends required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and specific job-related safety.
