Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to oversee all aspects of care for the transplant patient population. You will assess needs with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and lead quality improvement and research activities in line with ANA, UNOS and FACT standards.

The role requires RN licensure in applicable state, BLS, and prior clinical experience; sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• RN license by state requirements; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Must obtain CCTC or CCTN within 3 years; may require OCN/CPHON or BMTCN in Bone Marrow transplant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients across the care continuum.
• Assess patient status data and plan with patient, caregiver and healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality improvement and research.
