Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its patient-centered care team in Ohio. The RN will perform holistic assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive nursing care.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, prioritizing diagnoses, communicating with the team via SBAR, educating patients and families, and participating in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Ohio; BLS required
• BSN within five years of hire
• ACLS required within 6 months in step-down/ICU areas
• Commitment to professional growth and continuing education
• Adheres to ANA code of ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Communicate plan of care using SBAR with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge needs.
• Respond to emergencies with timely, precise actions.
• Participate in discharge planning and referrals as appropriate.
