Job summary

Qualifications

• The RN holds a current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months for some units.
• Certification in area of clinical specialty expected within five years of eligibility.
• AD or Diploma nurses may be hired; BSN preferred within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Document nursing care accurately in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Provide ongoing patient/family education and coordinate with the care team.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety and infection control standards.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentor peers, and participate in professional development.
