Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati seeks a registered nurse to deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered care across units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the care team, emphasizing safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down and ICU.
• New hires must obtain BSN within five years.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing skills to complete a holistic assessment of the patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal data and changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and charge RN.
• Provides ongoing patient and family education as part of the plan of care.
• Communicates the plan of care using SBAR and participates in handoff processes.
