Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic patient care within the Nursing Process framework. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, SBAR communication, safe implementation of orders, education for patients and families, and thorough documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license with current BLS; ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU.
• BSN completion within 5 years for nurses hired after January 2010.
• MSN or DNP not required but may supersede BSN.
• Participation in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic patient assessments and develop prioritized care plans.
• Communicate plan of care with SBAR and collaborate with the care team.
• Implement and delegate nursing actions safely and with accountability.
• Provide patient and family education and assist with discharge planning.
• Document clearly in the EMR and monitor patient outcomes and care quality.
• Maintain competency and engage in performance improvement initiatives.
