Job summary

Laurels of Chagrin Falls in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee resident care on assigned shifts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans while coordinating with LPNs, CNAs, and other team members to ensure safety and quality in a long‑term care setting.

Qualifying candidates hold an active Ohio RN license and CPR certification (or CPR within 90 days). A minimum of 1–2 years in long‑term or sub‑acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio
• CPR certification required or within 90 days of employment
• 1–2 years nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
