Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional care in an assigned unit, coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to the nursing process, and ongoing quality evaluation.

The position requires an active Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS as applicable, and experience in high-acuity settings.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing; CPR as a baseline requirement.
• L&D advanced fetal monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator support.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Sets realistic, population-specific outcome goals and guides patient/family to achieve them.
• Individualizes plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and ensures appropriateness to current status.
