Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinate care planning, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed. The role emphasizes age-specific bedside care and adherence to the nursing process.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs on admission and ongoing basis, setting outcomes, and implementing orders while maintaining safety. Requires Arizona RN license and CPR; ACLS as applicable by department.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Arizona RN license with CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ACLS required upon orientation; PALS/ENPC within 90 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge needs.
• Determine nursing diagnoses from assessment data.
• Set realistic, population-specific outcome goals for patients.
• Use patient/family input to guide care and goal achievement.
• Individualize the care plan based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement orders and ensure appropriateness to current status.
