Job summary

The Registered Nurse at Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital delivers professional, age-specific bedside care within an acute care unit, following the nursing process to meet patient needs.

In this clinical leadership role you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, participate in hourly rounding, and supervise staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit
• Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Arizona RN license with BLS and ACLS at time of hire
• 2 years of acute care experience in ED/ICU (preferred)
• BSN (preferred)
• PALS (preferred)
• CEN (preferred)
• TNCC (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and directing other healthcare staff in the provision of safe, effective care.
• Evaluates quality and safety of nursing practice, supporting patient goals and ensuring safety guidelines.
• Promotes safe and efficient patient throughput in a high-volume acute care setting to optimize workflow.
• Directs patient care, participates in hourly rounding, and supervises healthcare team members.
