Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside nursing care within an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with other disciplines, supervise healthcare staff, and evaluate nursing practice effectiveness to achieve patient goals.

The role requires delivering individualized, age-specific care using the nursing process, participating in hourly rounding, and potentially assuming shift leadership responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk, and discharge needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses based on assessment data.
• Set realistic patient-centered outcome goals and guide patient/family in achieving them.
• Individualize the care plan based on patient needs and complexities.
• Implement orders and ensure care aligns with current status.
• Other tasks as assigned by the hospital.
