Job summary

Abrazo Central Campus in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to provide direct bedside care on an assigned unit, coordinate care planning with disciplines, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed.

You will assess patient needs, develop outcomes, implement orders, and participate in hourly rounding while adhering to safety guidelines and hospital policies. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and patient focus.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Arizona RN license; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.
• Experience in high-acuity setting preferred or new graduate considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on patient assessment and data analysis.
• Set practical, realistic, and individualized outcome goals; involve patient/family.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement nursing and medical orders appropriate to patient status.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by hospital leadership.
