Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. The role includes supervising staff, directing patient care at times, and evaluating nursing practice for goal achievement.

The position requires a nursing degree and relevant licenses; ACLS/PALS/ENPC as applicable, NICU experience preferred, and a focus on patient-centered outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: advanced fetal monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years of Level III NICU experience including neonatal vent
• Arizona RN license with CPR; ACLS as applicable.
• PALS/ENPC or w/in 90 days; NRP where required.
• Wound/Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses from assessments and data.
• Set outcome goals with patient and family input; guide achievement.
• Individualize care plan based on patient needs and constraints.
• Implement nursing and medical orders appropriate to current status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
