Job summary

Abrazo Central Campus is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care within an assigned unit, coordinate care planning, and supervise other healthcare staff as needed. The role emphasizes patient-centered nursing processes, safety, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree from an accredited program, ARIZONA RN licensure, and applicable ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications or eligibility, with opportunities for growth and clinical

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based upon patient assessment and data analysis.
• Sets practical, realistic and appropriate patient population specific outcome goals. Utilizes patient and family input when appropriate and guides patient in achieving goals.
• Individualizes the patient’s plan of care based on patient needs and circumstantial/procedural complexities.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and assures they are appropriate to the patient’s current status.
