Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital, located in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care within an assigned unit. The role includes supervising healthcare staff, coordinating care plans with other disciplines, and applying the nursing process to meet patient needs.

The RN will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, participate in hourly rounding, and may oversee shifts as assigned.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona with CPR.
• ACLS as applicable by facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk, and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Set patient outcome goals and guide patient and family in achieving them.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure appropriateness for the patient’s current status.
