Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract, night shift. You will manage inductions and perioperative care, including OR circulation and epidurals, while maintaining patient safety and positive outcomes.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in L&D, current RN license, and certifications (BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP). Epic experience is essential for charting and patient management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current RN license; BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP certifications required.
• Proficient in Epic and intrapartum care workflows.
• Able to manage labor inductions, IUFDs and multiple IV drips.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor inductions, IUFDs and multiple medication drips (Pitocin, mag sulfate, insulin).
• Circulate in the OR and administer epidurals when required.
• Recover C-sections and float within Women's Services as needed.
• Support patient care with acuity and staffing on a 1:2 ratio; weekend rotations.

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.The nurse will work night shifts.The job requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.First-time travelers are accepted.Local candidates are also welcome.Holiday incentives are available for local candidates.The nurse will be responsible for managing labor inductions, IUFDs, and multiple medication drips such as Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin.The candidate should have experience with preterm labor, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhages.The nurse must be able to circulate in the OR and administer epidurals.Additionally, the nurse should be experienced in recovering C-sections.The nurse will float within Women's Services as needed.There is a weekend requirement of every other weekend.Patient ratios are 1:2 with 21 rooms and beds in the unit.Candidates should be familiar with the use of EPIC and other electronic charting systems.All RTO requests must be pre-approved, and additional time off after signing is not permitted.Candidates must be open to floating within the facility as needed.All nursing staff must adhere to the dress code, which stipulates only natural hair colors.
