Cynet Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Richardson, TX. The RN will monitor labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, and assist with high-risk deliveries and related procedures using fetal monitoring equipment.

The role requires a valid RN license and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications, plus prior charge experience and Epic charting familiarity.

Description:The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in the Labor and Delivery setting.Responsibilities include monitoring patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and perform various clinical procedures.Skills required include administration of blood products, pain management, and use of fetal monitoring equipment.The nurse will be responsible for patient assessments and educating families on newborn care.Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient outcomes.The ideal candidate will have experience with patient ratios of 2:1 and be proficient in electronic charting.Weekend shifts are required as part of the regular schedule.The position encompasses providing support for lactation, conducting patient triage, and managing labor progress.The candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Compliance with safety and infection control protocols is mandatory.This role requires a commitment to the highest standards of patient care and professional nursing practice.
