Job description

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, including those with high-risk antepartum conditions. The RN is responsible for overseeing patient care, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring safe and effective utilization of medical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and provide labor support to pregnant individuals.
• Perform triage assessments for obstetrical patients.
• Oversee the administration of medications including anticoagulants and antihypertensives.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and patient recovery post-C-section.
• Utilize various medical equipment including IUPC for childbirth management.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding antepartum and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.
