Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week contract in Walnut Creek, CA. Night shifts are 12 hours, and you’ll care for women through labor, delivery and postpartum, focusing on high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities include monitoring, vaginal exams, assisting deliveries (including C-sections), MgSO4 administration, and MDT collaboration with OBs, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians. ACLS/BLS/NRP required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal assessment certifications are required.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies is essential.
• EPIC documentation system experience preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for women throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, specifically focusing on high-risk pregnancies.
