Cynet Health is recruiting an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in Concord, NC. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per shift, and requires a strong high-risk obstetrics background, with EPIC EHR usage and available on-site support.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery, current RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM. Weekend rotations and travel flexibility may apply.

Description:This facility is licensed for 457 beds.It is a Level 3 trauma center.The facility is a recognized Stroke Center of Excellence.It also holds the designation of a Bariatric Center of Excellence and a Chest Pain Center.The Client Fetal Medicine unit handles referrals.The average census in the unit is 9-10 patients daily, with 13 labor beds and 5 triage rooms.The typical monthly delivery rate is 60-65.Patient care includes high-risk antepartum, labor, and immediate postpartum situations.Common diagnoses include pre-eclampsia and other hypertension disorders of pregnancy.The patient ratios are 1:1-2 for laboring RNs.Support staff includes a secretary, scrub tech, charge nurse, phlebotomy team, IV/VAT team, and 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist availability.Anesthesia and CRNA teams are also on-site.The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.Additional equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medical dispensing.Floating may be required within the region, necessitating flexibility in job duties.Weekend rotations occur every other week, and no on-call shifts are required.Traveling nurses will work 75% of holidays and may request up to 6 days off, excluding holidays.Shifts typically run from 0645-1930 or 1845-0730.The unit culture is characterized by hardworking and team-oriented individuals.
