Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery in California for a 13-week assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts in the Family Birth Center, with on-site support and flexible coverage as needed.

Required AWHONN advanced certs, BLS/NRP/ACLS, 2+ years L&D experience, and CA license. You may float to Med/Surg and coordinate with respiratory therapy and anesthesia during procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• CA license/certification required.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, Advanced AWHONN certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Care for L&D patients including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum.
• Assist during C-sections with anesthesia and respiratory therapy.
• Float to Med/Surg as needed; rotate to ensure coverage and safety.

Additional Notes: 150-175 births per year

Could be the only L&D nurse on site

A second L&D nurse will be on call

During C-sections, responsible for taking care of the baby with assistance from Respiratory Therapy and anesthesia

Patients 36 weeks and less are usually transferred to another facility or life-flighted

Cancellation Policy: Client can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.
