Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care and guiding other caregivers as needed.

Candidates should have an associate degree or nursing diploma; BSN in progress within three years; at least six months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program; and a valid RN license with BLS/CPR within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma is required.
• BSN in progress within three years is preferred for hires after Nov 2019.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Nurse Residency Program is required.
• Must be able to learn quickly, collaborate with the team, and deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team for a patient population.
• Directs and oversees care through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
