Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma is required.
• BSN in progress or within three years of hire.
• Six months+ nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork and ongoing education to deliver high-quality patient care.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care for a specific patient population as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Directs and oversees care by delegating, validating, and coordinating with other caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Maintains high standards of patient focus and quality of care.
