Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nursing care, coordinating plans, and ensuring patient safety and education.

The position requires an RN license, a nursing degree (associate or diploma), BLS/CPR certification within 60 days, and six months of nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma required.
• BSN in progress or willing to pursue within 3 years of hire.
• Current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and patient-focused care are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and delegate care with nursing and support staff.
• Perform ongoing nursing assessments, planning, and evaluation.
• Document care and communicate patient status to team.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
