Job summary

Hunterdon Health is seeking a part-time Intensive Care Unit RN in Flemington, NJ to provide quality nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice within Shared Governance.

Minimum one year Med/Surg experience; CAA ACLS, critical care, ventilation and arrhythmia interpretation skills on hire; Stroke training within one year. Bachelor's degree or BSN enrollment required for all hires after July 2012; NJ RN licensure and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing; enrollment or completion in BSN program if in Associate/Diploma track.
  • NJ RN licensure and CPR required.
  • ACLS, Critical Care, Vent management and arrhythmia interpretation required or obtained upon hire; stroke training within 1 year.

Hiring Range: $43.50 - $63.25 Hourly

Position Summary

Provides quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process using evidence based practice focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience within the framework of Shared Governance.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:

All hires after July 2012 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR if Associates Degree or Diploma, RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire date or internal RN promotion date.

Associates Degree AND 2 years of experience in the specialty area will be accepted in lieu of BSN

Required:

One year Med/Surg experience.

Preferred:

Previous ICU experience.

Required:
License, Registry or Certification:

Current NJ RN licensure and American Heart Association CPR certification.

Preferred:

Certification in specialty.

Certified in ACLS, Critical Care, Vent and Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation upon hire. Stroke training is required within 1 year of hire.

Preferred:

CCRN is recommended.
