Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Delaware for a full-time role to oversee clinical nursing services in community-based residential programs.

You will assess health needs, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians, guardians, and teams while ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation and person-centered care. Travel across service areas is required; daily pay options and a $2,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Delaware.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned service areas.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and healthcare documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services and clinical oversight to individuals with IDD in community-based residential programs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to support health and wellness goals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and physician-ordered treatments per standards and protocols.
• Conduct routine health assessments, nursing visits, and follow-up evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians, guardians, behavioral health professionals, residential staff, and teams.
• Maintain medical records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Monitor medication administration practices and safe procedures.
• Coordinate medical appointments and referrals.
