Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in California. The position involves night shifts with 12-hour shifts and caring for neuro ICU patients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years ICU RN experience, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and flexibility to float and respond to critical care needs. Strong teamwork and infection control adherence are essential. Travel nurses may receive 1.5 hours notice for floating; shuttles are available for related relocations.

Qualifications

Description:The ICU unit sees a variety of complex patient cases.Registered Nurses will be expected to manage critical care situations.Flexibility to float to other units may be required based on patient census.Travel nurses can anticipate a notice of 1.5 hours prior to shift start for floating assignments.Shuttles are available for those who float to different locations within the facility.Weekly schedules include every other weekend.Skills in managing ventilated patients and critical care protocols are essential.Emergency medications and advanced monitoring are integral aspects of the role.Candidates must be adept in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias.Management of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure is also expected.Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary to coordinate care effectively.Availability for additional shifts and on-call may be required based on unit needs.Compliance with unit protocols and adherence to infection prevention measures is mandatory.
