Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for ICU coverage in Mission Viejo, CA. This float position will involve caring for ventilated and critically ill patients on night shifts, with potential to float to other ICU floors and tele floors as needed.
Requirements include 1 year ICU experience, a valid RN license (California compact license if applicable), and ACLS/BLS certifications. Open to weekend work and holidays; travel between sister facilities may occur.

Description:This is a float position, and the clinician may be floated to different ICU floors or lower acuity units.The clinician may be floated to tele floors as required.Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.Must be willing to work every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this requirement to meet unit needs.Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed.Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.Daily patient ratio is approximately 1:2.Preferred experience includes working in trauma level II and I.The facility supports a variety of interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services.The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics.Comprehensive assessments and care for ventilated and critically ill patients are a primary responsibility.Other skills required include the care of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction and management of dysrhythmias.Knowledge in central line care, IV sedation protocols, and post-surgical care is essential.The clinician must also demonstrate proficiency in administering medications and supporting complex medical procedures.Infection prevention and adherence to isolation precautions are vital.
