Cynet Health is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13‑week assignment in Washington. The role requires 2 years of ICU experience, vent management expertise, and the ability to titrate sedation and vasoactive drips. The unit supports 4 ICU beds and expands to PCU as needed, with staff cross-assignment to Med Surg.
The nurse will work 6 PM to 6:30 AM, float to Med Surg as necessary, with 24/7 on-site respiratory therapy and telemetry interpretation. Weekend and holiday rotations apply.

Description:The position is for an ICU Registered Nurse.The nurse will work in a combined unit with 4 ICU beds and 19 medical beds.The unit may convert more beds to ICU or PCU if necessary.All nurses will take a Med Surg assignment in a rotation and float down.Med Surg ratios are 1:5, and pediatric patients may have a 1:4 ratio.ICU ratios are 1:1 or 1:2, with no flexibility in ICU ratios.The common patient types include those on vents and those in respiratory distress who do not require a pulmonologist.Other diagnoses may include medical, orthopedic, and abdominal surgery cases, as well as stable strokes with TPA and STEMIs that do not require intervention.The patient population is fairly stable with low COVID numbers currently.Pediatric cases may include laparoscopic appendectomies and gastrointestinal procedures.Unstable patients will transfer out of the unit.Two nurse assistants are usually available per shift.There will be a charge nurse or hospital resource nurse on every shift.In-house respiratory therapy is available 24/7 to manage vents, BiPap, and CPAP settings.The nurse will be responsible for reading and interpreting telemetry strips.Virtual ICU support is also available, with cameras in every room.Shifts are from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, with efforts made for set schedules.Weekend requirements include every other weekend and holiday rotation.The nurse must be able to function well in an ICU setting and float to Med Surg as needed.Strong skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a willingness to ask questions are essential for this role.The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment.
