ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour shifts, three days a week, with orientation and potential for extension.

The RN will supervise licensed practical nurses and assistive personnel, perform initial assessments within 8 hours of admission, and develop care plans in collaboration with the care team. Required: current RN license, BLS and ACLS before first shift, and at least two years of bedside

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within the first 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
• Engage in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care focusing on education and goal achievement.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Facilitate communication regarding patient status changes among care providers.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety in line with hospital policies.
• Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Assume charge responsibility as directed after the orientation period.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education.

Job Description
