Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Dearborn, MI, seeks an experienced House Supervisor (RN) for per diem night coverage. Work from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on the psychiatric unit, ensuring coordinated delivery of care and adherence to standards.

You will supervise the nursing staff, liaise with Intake and Admissions on admissions, discharges and transfers, and support performance improvement efforts within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or BSN required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Available for weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of patient care in accordance with standards of care and hospital policy.
• Provide direct supervision of the nursing staff, patients and care during the shift.
• Collaborate with Intake and Admissions regarding admissions, discharges and transfers.
