Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS Facility, seeks a House Supervisor (RN) for per diem days 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. You will ensure coordinated delivery of patient care and supervise nursing staff, while coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers with the Intake Department.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in nursing or a BSN, a MI RN license, and CPR certification, with 3+ years in a psychiatric health-care setting. Weekend/holiday coverage is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Experience: 3+ years in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification; knowledge of Joint Commission and OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care per standards, policy and performance goals.
• Provides direct supervision of nursing staff, patients, and patient care during the shift, and coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers with Intake.
