Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) in Dearborn seeks an RN Unit Manager to provide administrative and clinical supervision across two 24-bed units (Adolescent and Adult). You will partner with department directors to ensure coordinated operations and high-quality patient care.

You’ll lead nursing staff, house supervisors, and unit clerks; manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations; and work closely with physicians to maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Currently licensed by the State of Michigan as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to nursing staff and unit techs.
• Coordinate operations between units and department directors.
• Prioritize tasks, schedule staff, and delegate duties.
• Perform direct patient care in the nursing capacity as needed.
