Job summary

Spring Harbor Hospital is seeking a Per Diem House Supervisor (RN) – Behavioral Health to provide clinical and administrative leadership during assigned hours. The House Supervisor serves as the senior on duty, directing patient care and allocating hospital resources in collaboration with the leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with BSN (preferred), current state license, BLS (or ability to obtain within 30 days), and psychiatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS required or must obtain within 30 days.
• Five years of relevant experience preferred; psychiatric nursing preferred; medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume clinical and administrative responsibility for the hospital during assigned hours.
• Serve as the senior on duty, directing patient care and allocating resources in collaboration with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policy, and quality standards.
