Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Nevada.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers.
• Minimum of five years nursing in an acute care facility.
• ACLS within six months of hire; if hired before 2026-03-06, ACLS by 2026-09-06.
• NIHSS certification within six months; if hired before 2026-03-06, NIHSS by 2026-09-06.
• Completes Hospital Incident Command System training.

Responsibilities

• Attends departmental staff meetings as required.
• Coordinates daily staffing to meet patient care needs and budgets.
• Ensures compliance with standards, policies, and nursing scope of practice.
• Promotes patient flow and appropriate patient placement across the org.
• Serves as incident commander or lead during codes and disasters.
• Mentors staff and supports ancillary departments as needed.
