Job summary

Valley Health System in Nevada seeks an experienced registered nurse for direct and indirect patient care in a busy hospital setting. This role supports the care team, coordinates multi-disciplinary efforts, and upholds service excellence standards.

The position requires a BSN, current Nevada RN license, and BLS, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Experience in cardiovascular care and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN Required.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in cardiovascular assessment; comfortable with 12-lead EKG and arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members and directs nursing staff to achieve safe, optimal health outcomes.
• Provides professional leadership and supports the healthcare team to meet facility mission and goals.
